This is me.

March is Kidney Health Month in Canada, a campaign to raise awareness of kidney disease and of the importance of kidneys to our overall health. I decided to mark this month with a rare self portrait, a reminder to myself of my kidney journey so far, and that mine is one of countless faces that are experiencing kidney journeys of their own.

This month — and every month — I am grateful for my friends and family for their unwavering support, and grateful for all the medical staff for their excellent care over the years.
